About the Project

This project was completed as part of Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania’s MSIDT graduate capstone project. Under the fictional company name UnclutterED L&D, we developed a proposal for Radius Leaders, a nurse leadership organization seeking an online learning solution and a simple, cost-effective LMS to support their busy workforce.

Our solution addressed critical challenges in healthcare leadership, such as burnout, turnover, and limited time for professional development, through a series of Articulate Rise microlearning modules focused on essential nurse leadership skills. This learning experience was designed to empower nurse leaders by helping them strengthen their confidence, skills, and ability to lead.

We organized the modules into two tailored learning paths for new and senior nurse leaders, ensuring that each group was appropriately challenged and fully engaged. To promote real-world application, we incorporated scenario-based learning, guided reflection questions, and “just-in-time” job aids for ongoing performance support. Each module was designed to be fully responsive, mobile-friendly, and WCAG-compliant, allowing busy nurse leaders to learn on the go while ensuring accessibility for all users. The courses were to be hosted on Articulate Reach, a simple, user-friendly LMS that integrates seamlessly with the Rise learning environment

Process & Approach

We applied the Successive Approximation Model (SAM) and a Scrum-based project management approach to guide prototype development and ensure ongoing stakeholder collaboration and alignment. Over several weeks, we produced a comprehensive proposal recommending Articulate Rise as the primary learning platform and Articulate Reach as the LMS solution. Our submission included a company overview video, a fully developed interactive prototype with custom graphics, and a formal presentation delivered at the Commonwealth University Corporate Advisory Conference, attended by alumni, faculty, and the Radius Leaders team.

This project highlights my ability to design engaging, accessible, and learner-centered experiences, collaborate effectively with a team, and translate client needs into customized learning solutions that drive engagement, retention, and confidence.
